Detailed Healthcare News: Apollo Hospitals Reports Strong Q4 FY26 Results

Apollo Hospitals Enterprise Limited has announced a strong financial performance for the fourth quarter of FY26, reporting a 36% year-on-year rise in consolidated net profit. The company’s profit increased to approximately ₹529 crore, compared to ₹390 crore during the same quarter last year.

Quarterly Revenue: Increased by 18% to around ₹6,605 crore
EBITDA Growth: Rose about 26–31%
Operating Margin: Improved to nearly 15.3%
Annual FY26 Profit: Grew 34% to approximately ₹1,942 crore

Apollo Hospitals stated that the major growth drivers were:

Increased patient inflow for advanced diagnostics

Hospital Expansion Plans

The company continues aggressive expansion across India:

Four new hospitals were commissioned during the year
Apollo plans to add around 1,500 new beds within the next 12–18 months
Hospital occupancy reached around 68% during the March quarter

Strategic Business Move

Apollo Hospitals also announced the sale of its fertility and maternity business to Cloudnine for approximately ₹1,550 crore while retaining a minority stake. The company said the funds will help strengthen diagnostics and digital healthcare businesses
